Airport Pickups
Let us be the first to greet you in Arizona. ISClub Downtown has lots of trust-worthy staff and volunteers who are willing and able to pick you up at no cost when you arrive for the first time at Phoenix International Airport. We can also help you get settled into your new home. We are available to help take you to get things such as groceries, small furniture, products for your home and other items you need so you're able to be safe, comfortable and ready to start the semester.
English Conversation
We are happy to offer English conversation meetings to help you improve your English language ability. We will use engaging topics to talk about, as well as specific topics that you might want to get better at such as "Business English" or anything else that might be most helpful to you. We will pair you with a conversation leader who is a trusted club staff or volunteer. Conversation meetings can have 1 to 4 students. Discussion Groups on Faith, the Bible, and Life
Have you ever wondered about what the purpose of life really is? Do you think God really loves you and cares about you? Have you ever been interested to learn what the Bible talks about, and what it says about who Jesus is? Our faith discussion groups provide an opportunity for open and honest discussion about Life and the Bible in a judgement free group and community. We watch videos, read Bible content and then discuss together through organized questions and topics. We are all learning and growing, and we would enjoy having you join us. MOVING RESOURCES
We know that sometimes students need to move to a new dorm, apartment, or house while studying at ASU downtown. Unfortunately, the ISClub Downtown can't offer help with this services at the moment. However, we have included some resources and ideas to help you.

Moving Companies
You can hire a moving company to move all your belongings from your old home to your new home. Just search "Moving Companies in Phoenix" on Google or Yelp to find a good company. They usually charge by the hour and the amount of items that need to be moved. However, you can request a price quote from them before agreeing to the service. Just a few companies to consider are:
Reminders:
Prepare ahead of time for your move. Give plenty of notice to your current apartment or house management.
If others are going to help you move, you need to make sure you ask them at least a week before you plan to move so they can plan it in their schedule
If you don't have a drivers license, the best thing to do is hire a moving company for a few hours or ask friends who might be able to drive a rented moving truck for you. You can also find friends who might already have a truck who could help you.
On the day that you plan to move, make sure you already have everything in boxes and ready to be moved out
